For many new teams, it is a struggle at first. We’re often introducing a new way of doing things at the same time as a new product. A coach is there to support the team during this time.
From an organisation’s point of view, this is a scary proposition. The project/programme/product looks like it is at risk and they have someone sat there who has worked in this fashion before. Why not get the coach to take charge of delivery?
