Meetup: ‘Welcome to the Agile Mani-fresh-to!’ & ‘Uber reteaming’: 2 short talks

Details
Join us for our first-ever Agile Coaching Network event (live online), hosting two short talks by experienced and passionate Agile Coaches.

—Overview—

Talk 1: Welcome to the launch of the Agile Mani-fresh-to! – Chris Yardy & Rich Freeman

What changed in 2020? Well, pretty much everything! We went in to the office, stayed at home, struggled at the home-school, bought a new bike, found out just how bad we were at baking banana bread and met our neighbours for the first time. Heck, we even got an updated Scrum Guide. What didn’t we get? An update to the Agile Manifesto.

Join this interactive session to hear two Agile Coaches pitch their hand-picked, latest and greatest Agile concepts, techniques and practices to add to the Manifesto and be prepared to dot vote which you think is best. What would you add to this hallowed piece of text? Bring along your thoughts and you will be able to pitch them at the end of the session as the People’s Choice. Hopefully, you will pick up some new ideas to help you plan your 2021 and sign up to the new Mani-fresh-to!

Talk 2: Uber reteaming – Stefan Aust

Frequent reteaming has a negative impact to an organization. New team members join, current members leave or are reassigned to other projects in an instant. Hectic transfers and chaotic handovers are part of a so-called uber reteaming of staff and build products. In this meet-up, we will discuss the implications of uber reteaming and helpful remedies.

Course Overview – ICAgile ® Certified Agile Team Coaching (ICP-ACC)

The ICP-ACC agile coach training is one of two knowledge-based certifications on the Agile Coaching track. The certification focuses primarily on the mindset, roles, and responsibilities of an Agile Coach.

After this engaging remote training, the learner will be able to differentiate between and among mentoring, facilitating, professional coaching and teaching, and will also gain the skills needed to create a safe environment for meaningful collaboration and healthy conflict resolution within an agile team.

The ICAgile Certified Agile Team Coaching (ICP-ACC) certification introduces participants to foundational team coaching skills and team development concepts for starting and growing teams while focusing on teams and organisations as human systems. A key part of this certification focuses on developing an understanding of the professional coaching skillset and the value of honing these skills to serve individuals on an agile team.

We introduce tools and frameworks to help you on your coaching journey through ‘real play’ not ‘role play’.

Join Jon Spruce and Ben Maynard to start or enhance your professional agile coaching journey.
